Kitchener · Waterloo Region District School Board
Strong public schools build strong communities. When schools prioritize student well-being, safety, and educational foundations, the whole community thrives. I'm running to put academics first, build students with the confidence and courage to succeed and take on life's challenges, and make sure every student is supported and every dollar spent delivers real value for Kitchener families.

Campaign Priorities
My campaign is built on five simple commitments to Kitchener students, parents, and taxpayers.
Strong foundations in reading, writing, and math come first. Every student deserves rigorous, high-quality instruction that prepares them for the future.
Schools should build confident and capable young people — students who have the courage to face challenges, recover from setbacks, and believe in their own abilities.
Board processes and decisions must be transparent and aligned with what is actually best for students — not bureaucracy or politics. Parents as partners: included and informed every step of the way.
Every tax dollar should deliver real results in the classroom. I will push for high-value, high-return spending and cut what doesn't serve students.
Every student learns differently. We must protect and strengthen the supports, resources, and staffing that help students with special needs succeed alongside their peers.
About Ahmed
Ahmed Kassad is a father of three and a member of the Kitchener community who believes that strong public education is the foundation of opportunity. He is running for WRDSB Trustee to bring a parent-and-community-first perspective to the board table.
Ahmed believes trustees should listen first — to students, parents, teachers, and taxpayers — and make decisions grounded in what genuinely helps young people learn, grow, and thrive.
With a focus on academics, student safety, supports and well-being, transparent board processes, and responsible spending, Ahmed is committed to being an accountable and accessible voice for Kitchener at the Waterloo Region District School Board.
